People can feel very disempowered by what's happening and by what's coming with Trump. There is a lot of fear but frankly, there is a basis for hope. ...

The most important thing for people to hear is that they can take a stand. Whether they are lawyers, artists, teachers, students—anybody can take a stand in the community they live in. 

There's a lot of convening, a lot of conversations, a lot of work going on that should give people a lot of room for hope despite the battle ahead.
