Racism: An Ongoing Dilemma - A Symposium with Journalists from The Boston Globe Spotlight Team

A Faith That Does Justice will welcome members of The Boston Globe Spotlight Team for a symposium on racism, moderated by Rahsaan Hall

, director of the Racial Justice Program at the ACLU of Massachusetts.

In a seven-part series, the Spotlight team dove into the dilemma of racism in Boston, examining how much of Boston's national reputation as an unwelcoming city for black people is based on our city's current reality.

The panelists include: Adrian Walker, a Metro section columnist providing commentary and opinion on local and regional news, society and culture; Patricia Wen, a two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and editor of the Spotlight Team, and Lizbeth Kowalczyk, a 2013 Pulitzer Prize finalist and finalist for the Scripps Howard award for investigative reporting in 2015.

The event is free and open to the public, though registration is required. Donations are welcome.

Register for the event at www.faith-justice.org/events or by phone at (857) 990-3670 for admission to the meeting.
