Pride and Privacy

At Pride celebrations across the state this spring, the ACLU and others have rallied to show support for equality for the LGBTQ community. See the photo above with Lady Liberty, Justice, and Captain America from Northampton Pride!
ACLU staff and volunteers with privacy petitions they collected at Boston Pride!
But the ACLU sees issues as interconnected. As important as it is for LGBT people to have the option of living openly, everyone needs protection for privacy in an age of almost limitless online surveillance by government and corporations.
So, ACLU staff and volunteers worked Boston Pride 2015 on behalf of privacy rights, and collected over 100 postcards in support of e-privacy reform.
