The Ellen Paradise Fisher-Franklin M. Fisher Legal Fellowship is open to third-year law students and new attorneys showing exceptional promise, who seek to develop their practice through civil rights and civil liberties advocacy.

Fellows will work closely with ACLUM staff on litigation and other advocacy in areas such as racial justice, free speech, immigrants’ rights, police accountability, and government surveillance. Successful candidates will be offered a one- or two-year fellowship.

This fellowship is made possible through the generous support of Ellen Paradise-Fisher and Franklin M. Fisher.

For more information, see our press release about this fellowship.

ACLUM is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and encourages women, people of color, persons with disabilities, members of the LGBTQ community, and formerly incarcerated people to apply.
