ACLU of Massachusetts' Racial Justice Program director Rahsaan Hall joined Boston community leaders for a televised discussion on race and policing in the city. The segment, hosted by WCVB in partnership with The Boston Foundation, came after particularly public police-involved shootings in Baton Rouge, Saint Paul, and Dallas over the last two weeks. The forum addressed a wide range of topics including the disproportionate impact of stop-and-frisks on Black people, newly reintroduced legislation aimed increasing penalties for assaulting police officers, and the public's right to record the police.
