Women's Rights

The ACLU pushes for change and reform in institutions that perpetuate discrimination against women – in the workplace, schools, doctor’s offices, and at home.

While we've made great strides towards gender equality in the last 100 years, women in the U.S. still face barriers. Restrictions on reproductive healthcare, pay inequities, trans discrimination, and gender-based violence are all key issues in the ongoing fight for women’s rights. Women of color are especially impacted by these inequities.

The ACLU of Massachusetts is committed to ensuring equal economic opportunities, educational equity, and an end to gender-based violence.
