Mamie Covell joined the ACLU of Massachusetts as the Social Media Associate in 2022. They work as a member of the Communications & Marketing team to shape the digital voice of the organization through social media content. Mamie’s interest lies in the power of the social internet as a tool for positive change and the continuing fight for justice.
Prior to the ACLUM, Mamie worked as Community Engagement Coordinator for Berks Arts in Reading, Pennsylvania. They also served as a Recruiter for VisionCorps, an affiliate of National Industries for The Blind.
Mamie is a graduate of Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a B.S. in Communication and a minor in Sociology. They served as the Student Representative on Millersville’s Borough Council.
