Julian Bava is a 2023-2024 Yale Public Interest Fellow with the ACLU of Massachusetts, where he focuses on the rights of detained immigrants. Prior to graduating from Yale Law School, Julian interned with ACLUM, the Center for Justice and Accountability, and the Office of the County Counsel for Santa Clara County. He was also a member of the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic, the Immigrant Justice Project, and the Journal of International Law. Julian previously worked with immigrant and refugee communities in the San Francisco Bay Area and Beirut, Lebanon. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in human rights from Stanford University.
