Annabella Foley serves as the Human Resources Generalist for the ACLU of Massachusetts. In her past roles she has proven highly proficient in building lasting relationships with key decision makers, customers, and team members. In her position at ACLU-MA, she looks to utilize these skills to help grow the HR division and Operations & Talent team. Annabella hopes to further the organization's goals of growing their diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace to fight for human rights.
With over 20 years in the human services field Annabella has a wide scope of experience. These include working with the state as a Developmental Service Worker for adults with disabilities and teaching infants and toddlers at her local daycare. In her summers, she enjoyed volunteering as a camp counselor at Camp Hole in the Wall, a nonprofit organization serving children and their families coping with serious illnesses and conditions.
In 2019, she earned a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Fitchburg State University. Before this, she graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a B.A. in psychology & sociology, graduating magna cum laude at both universities.
As a first generation American, Annabella is a proud descendent of Haitian parents who immigrated to the United States for better opportunities. Her personal background and experiences have ignited her passion for immigrants’ rights, health inequities, lgbtqia+ rights, drug law reform, and racial justice. She strives to be a part of the effort to create a world with more peace, love, empathy, and compassion for our fellow humans, animals, and future generations.
Annabella is a proud New England native. Her hobbies include traveling, movies, and music. During her free time, she enjoys being a sports mom and spending time with her son and 2 cats.
